What happens when a reality show fails? El Green is determined to find out. Eleanor Green lives a quiet life in London, where she works as a waitress at the exclusive restaurant Cello. Still mourning the death of her beloved father, she leads a solitary existence. She has no friends and speaks only to her younger sister Lissy and her uncle Charlie outside of work. One evening, however, a wealthy man named Jim Valente, the director of Cyclops, comes into the restaurant, looking for a new host for his successful reality show Jokers, and this chance encounter leads El to uncover a connection between the popular TV program and her father's death. She creates a profile on a website for the vengeful and, in collaboration with a very funny, successful, and intelligent hacker who goes by the name Horsehead on that forum, Eleanor realizes that together they can prepare the perfect revenge, which pulls her into a world very distant from her own. However, her efforts soon turn into an obsession, and she seems to have no idea how to stop. The desire for revenge requires her to risk her own life and the lives of her loved ones...
