Twenty-year-old Lena from Berlin imagined her year as an au pair in the USA quite differently. Instead of an acclaimed metropolis, she ends up in a small town called Green Valley in the Rocky Mountains, where her host family runs a small Bed & Breakfast. Although the mountains are something quite foreign and uninteresting to Lena, a girl from the big city, she quickly settles into the home of Jack and Amy Cooper and their little son Liam. Everything would continue to be wonderful if it weren't for Jack's younger brother Ryan, the 'fallen hero' from Green Valley. After a serious accident during one of his ski races, he had to end his career as a professional skier and now lives, rather unwillingly, with the Coopers, where he vents all his immense anger and frustration on Lena. One day, however, Lena runs out of patience and makes it clear to him. From that moment on, everything between her and the good-looking Ryan begins to change gradually...
