This Czech-language novel follows Eryk, an intelligent boy from a wealthy family who plays and sings in the cover band Wings, and Kaja, one of the best students at school, who is shy and secretive and has grown up in a children’s home with her older sister Zuza. When the headmaster offers Wings a place at a Christmas music talent show on the condition that they perform an original song, Eryk looks to poetry for inspiration. He discovers the Angel Wings blog by chance and becomes fascinated by its mysterious author as he reads her writing and poems. He eventually decides to send her a message. Do a boy who has everything and a girl who has had to fight for everything on her own have a chance at love despite coming from different worlds?
