Anna spent more than fifty years by Severino's side. One day, however, she inexplicably packed her bags and left home. After a year of waiting, Severino leaves the island of Stromboli to search for his wife. Thus begins his journey across Sicily, a nostalgic visit to the places where he and Anna lived together, but also a journey through time, into memories of key moments of their shared life.
