Beschreibung
In a recycling center in Reykjavik, a skeleton is found and exhumed, which had apparently been buried in the ground for many years. Officers Týr and Karó are not assigned to the case but are asked to help with a neighborhood dispute that has escalated to dangerous proportions. However, they soon find themselves in the midst of a murder investigation. Meanwhile, young chef Gunndís decides to follow in her deceased father's footsteps and takes a temporary job aboard a large fishing vessel. When she finds a book that belonged to her father, which should be somewhere at the bottom of the sea, she begins to fear for her life. Although Týr and Karó initially do not realize it, all events are connected to a terrible accident many years ago when a fishing boat caught fire at sea and sank into the depths of the ocean with the crew trapped inside. The thriller Depths is the third installment in the gripping Black Ice series by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir.
