Deep in the northern woods, in a small cabin on a lake island, with the mainland barely visible in the distance, sixteen-year-old Juno has lived her entire life in almost complete isolation from the outside world. Her only company is her parents and her little brother Boy. They live in a well-established rhythm – fishing, cooking, and playing board games. Yet they live in constant fear. For on the other side of the lake lurks danger – unknown people trying to track them down and take revenge on the entire family for what their father did long ago.
