Beschreibung
The loose continuation of the historical detective story 'Death Wears Red Boots' again takes place in medieval Prague, in December 1399. Václav from the Black Horse, the under-bailiff of Old Town Prague, is solving more cases. He has quite a lot on his shoulders: besides the disappearance of the bailiff Vohnout, a fire in the council chamber, disorder in the municipal treasury, and searching for the culprits, he must deal with a number of other smaller or larger problems. He is also trying to uncover the identity of the mysterious jurors, who are apparently behind the attack on the bishop's envoy, and expose the frauds of the alchemist with a bad reputation. To top it all off, his wife Kateřina occasionally attacks Václav secretly with her feminine wiles, longing for new clothes for the anticipated coronation...
