Kora appears to be an ordinary high school girl at first glance, trying to survive new classmates and the divorce of her adoptive parents. While her ambitious mother has no time for her, her father tries to pull her into his eccentric life in the borderlands a bit too much. When he asks her to participate in some mysterious ceremony on the summer solstice, Kora hesitantly agrees.
