This colourful history workbook for fourth-grade pupils is part of the Understanding Connections series. The workbooks form a functional whole with the textbooks and correspond in content to the texts presented there. Completing the tasks leads pupils to find and work with information from the textbook and other sources. They practise and consolidate the material through open questions and imaginative, entertaining activities such as matching concepts and information, completing diagrams, describing pictures, choosing the correct options, completing sentences, solving coded messages, anagrams and word searches. At the end of each revision section, pupils can assess their own progress. The workbook also contains a timeline summarising the key events from the period of Czech history covered.
