Matematika - Kladná a záporná čísla (pracovní sešit) (2025)

This two-colour mathematics workbook on positive and negative numbers is part of a new thematic series for lower-secondary education. The mathematics curriculum for the entire lower-secondary level is not divided into individual school years in the traditional way, but thematically into 16 textbooks. The content of each textbook precisely follows the Czech Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education, while the division into separate thematic units allows schools to arrange the material according to their own school educational programme. The proposed sequence includes four topics for each school year. Each chapter has three sections. The main section contains practice exercises with space left for working; some exercises are partly solved and students complete the solution. The difficulty increases gradually and carefully. The second section provides additional exercises similar to those in the first, supporting an individual approach by the teacher without the need for further exercise collections. The chapter concludes with more advanced and interesting tasks, including exercises that slightly extend the material as well as genuinely entertaining or unusual problems. Some exercises are closed-ended. To create links between subjects, the workbook focuses on the educational area of People and Nature. It includes an answer key. The contents are in Czech.
