A long-term system of work aimed at strengthening and deepening basic reading skills and improving reading performance is brought by the set 'Improving Reading', in which reading letters, syllables, first words, and reading words of various structures is systematically organized, purposefully deepened, and practiced. Each part of the set corresponds in content to the individual parts of the textbooks for teaching reading in the series 'We Read and Write with Agáta'. It adheres to the gradual order of the letters being covered and their used font, as well as the methodological approach to teaching reading words of various structures. The 'Improving Reading' set is designed to help both students who can improve the quality and possibly the speed of their reading through this reading, and those who still need to practice basic reading skills. Each letter is always covered at all basic skill levels (the letter itself, syllable, word). Each student thus has repeated opportunities to develop their reading skills at a level corresponding to their abilities and current possibilities throughout the entire 1st grade. This ensures the necessary individualization in reading instruction and facilitates inclusion.
