1. and 2. volumes of the Slabikář continue with the gradual introduction of letters and reading words. Students are also getting acquainted with short texts and learning to work with them. All tasks and exercises support the practice of reading and writing with comprehension. We also offer a version of the 1st and 2nd volumes of the Slabikář bound together in a sturdy hardcover. The 3rd volume of the Slabikář has a reader-like character. The texts are arranged from simpler to more difficult, and students are guided to work with them systematically. In each volume of the Slabikář, instructions for students are provided using pictograms. Gradually, as students learn to read individual words in the instructions, the pictograms are replaced with words or complete written instructions. The second numbering at the top of each page is included in all volumes of the Slabikář, as well as instructions for explaining the work with tasks on each page at the bottom of every page.
