A new geometry textbook that does not require prior knowledge of previous volumes of Matýsek's Mathematics and can be treated as a standalone textbook. This textbook introduces students to the issues of geometry in a comprehensive manner and places great emphasis on ensuring that each topic is explained sufficiently and in small steps, so that students who do not understand the material in school have support in the textbook and can study or review the material at any time. From the very beginning, students are introduced to simple symbols used in geometry. All tasks and exercises are based on practical examples, which students will quickly understand and learn the correct habits that will serve them in studying mathematics in higher grades. The textbook is further supplemented with tasks from spatial geometry and accompanying logical tasks that students commonly encounter in various entrance exams and tests. From experience, we can say that these tasks engage students and highlight those who may be weaker in mathematics but have good spatial imagination.
