The new colorful workbook forms a functional whole with the 6th-grade natural science textbook, part 1, and its content fully corresponds to it. Naturally, there are also extension tasks that allow for the potential of more gifted students to be utilized. The inclusion of short informational texts at the beginning of each chapter leads to understanding and working with the text. There are also review tasks with self-assessment and suggestions for laboratory work. Each chapter begins with a short text that serves both educational and motivational purposes. Understanding the text and the subsequent task develops reading literacy, as do the various tasks in the workbooks that stem from the comprehension of the text presented in the textbook. Each unit concludes with a summary review and a self-assessment table. The tasks in the workbooks support the development of scientific literacy.
