Matýskova matematika pro 5. ročník, 1. díl (učebnice) – Novák František (2022)

Matýsek's Mathematics for the 5th grade, similar to the 4th grade, consists of three textbooks and three workbooks. Multimedia interactive textbooks (MIUč+) are also created for each textbook and workbook, including student licenses, so that students can practice the material in an entertaining interactive way on their home computers or tablets if they wish. We will also publish methodological guides for the textbooks. Just like in previous grades, the textbooks systematically graphically distinguish the basic derived material, including definitions, practice tasks, and examples for ongoing review. A new feature is the inclusion of more challenging logical problems, similar to those students may encounter in comparative tests or entrance exams for high schools. For this type of problem, a possible solution to a model problem is thoroughly explained step by step, followed by similar examples for independent solving. The presented solution methods exclusively utilize mathematical skills that students have already mastered, making what initially seems like a difficult problem solvable.
