Pán Atlasu – Falconer Colin (2022)

Military doctor George and his friend artilleryman Harry no longer serve in the British Army. The former has left and is treating patients in a small London practice. The latter received the Victoria Cross for bravery, but when he persuaded the daughter of a general to run away with him, it was taken away from him, and he was discharged from the army under another pretext. He became a drunkard, losing his last money at cards. It seems that the offer of two thousand pounds promised by a Moroccan sultan represents an easy and quick way for both of them to get back on their feet. The sultan needs them to command the crew of three older cannons he acquired for his fight against the rebels led by his brother Bou Hamra.
