Not long ago, Mitch Rapp risked his life to save Saudi Arabian oil fields from a terrorist attack. The success of the terrorists would have crippled the Arab nation, given the Islamic State a chance to disrupt the fragile political balance of the region, and dealt a severe blow to the U.S. economy as well. However, the American president is losing patience with his duplicitous ally. America silently overlooked the Saudis' significant role in the 9/11 attacks, but it will no longer ignore the fact that the royal family finances terrorists and allows militant Islam to act and strengthen its positions without repercussions. Yet the president cannot give the order for a punitive action against this paper ally. Thus, Rapp must undertake the most sensitive mission of his career on his own. Will he survive it, or will he be forever considered an enemy of the state?
