All the mythologies of the world are much closer to the truth than so-called history – this is the fundamental message of another amazing book by the well-known spiritual teacher, whose talks this time focus on the thoughts of various significant figures, from Buddha to Krishna. The remarkable people mentioned by Osho are often overlooked by official history textbooks. Nevertheless, according to the master's opinion, these figures are far more beneficial to the world than the famous kings or warriors that are endlessly discussed and written about. History predominantly records conflicts, focusing on negative things – disputes, battles, and the desire for power. Therefore, it may sometimes seem to us that the wonderful people bringing enlightened messages may never have lived, that they are mythological figures rather than real ones. That they are merely products of our imagination or embodiments of our desires. However, this is a misconception, emphasizes Master Osho – they truly existed, they just left no traces behind. Textbooks, for example, mention Jesus very little.
