Beschreibung
This book contains improvised talks that Osho delivered in the early period of his teaching during a three-day meditation retreat in Bombay. Their central theme is working with the mind aimed at liberating it from all negative influences of society. In just three days, Osho managed to reveal the path to an independent mind, which is a fundamental condition for developing human potential, while focusing on three states of mind: the state of no thought, the state of thinking, and the state of no thinking. In his talks, he traditionally uses various parables and stories from ancient times while also answering questions from sannyasins. He places a strong emphasis on freeing oneself from all forms of belief and conviction and breaking away from the crowd that leads one to mediocrity and blind obedience. As Osho says, 'An independent mind awakens in us the desire for a true life, in which we hide nothing, do not live hypocritically, and do not try to be different from who we truly are. Only then can we finally recognize our true being and live happily and freely.'
