The end of the world lasted a few seconds. Most of humanity died during that time. Those who were unlucky like Carl and survived were given a choice: Either play Fallout in a radioactive wasteland or join the World Tomb – the most-watched reality show in the galaxy.
The game, run by a sadistic artificial intelligence with a foot fetish, has simple rules. Want to get Earth back? Avoid deadly traps, fend off perverse monsters, and make it to the eighteenth floor within the time limit. The only problem is, you have to do it in style.
Alien viewers want to be entertained, and only if you can win them over will they be willing to send you cash for better equipment. However, becoming a star is a bit of a challenge for Carl, who entered the Tomb wearing only a leather jacket and boxers, especially when he can't recruit anyone better for his party than a talking cat named Coffin and the residents of a retirement home...
