It's the year 2030, and Europe is collapsing under internal strife and the pressure of a united caliphate. However, the ongoing war doesn't concern the former government assassin codenamed Scarecrow, who after years of wading through corpses has retired early and hidden away in a cabin in the Krkonoš forests.

But nothing lasts forever. All it takes is for him to help a girl in trouble, and his entire world will be engulfed in flames. Scarecrow has stumbled upon something that even years of killing couldn't prepare him for, and certain people will begin to pursue him more relentlessly than cyborgs with Austrian accents from old films.

To survive, Scarecrow, who feels out of place after being unwillingly involved in a dubious magical ritual, will have to call in every favor he has collected throughout his violent career. The weather forecast for the coming days is clear: Prepare your umbrellas, heads will roll.
