Pozvaní – McMahon Jennifer (2020)

The married couple, Nate and Helen, are teachers at a prestigious high school in Connecticut. One day, they decide to leave the comfort and safety of predictable city life and move to the countryside. They want to get closer to real life and build everything with their own hands. Here, on a plot of land in the wild, they begin to build the house of their dreams. However, due to the not-so-friendly attitude of the locals and several mysterious events, they soon discover that their land is connected to a dark past and that the legend of a local ghost may have a real basis. Is the world we see the only world, or do natural forces hide more than we can perceive with our ordinary senses? The tension escalates, the boundaries between worlds blur.
