Beschreibung
A series of booklets for small preschoolers brings simple children's texts and activities to develop basic cognitive skills. For example, the child learns to recognize flat geometric shapes, identify them in objects around them, and at the same time, acquire the correct terminology. They learn to recognize digits and associate them with the quantities they represent. They distinguish between domestic, farm, and wild animals, matching young animals with their parents. They are encouraged to talk about their feelings based on mini-stories about animals and learn to process them. The activities are expected to be assisted by an adult, who will naturally help with reading. In the spirit of Montessori pedagogy, the booklets didactically complement, develop, and guide the preschooler on their journey of discovery. Three stages of learning should be respected: the presentation of new material through the senses, the learning itself, and the consolidation of what has been learned. In each activity, the child receives immediate feedback in case of mistakes, allowing them to correct their work during the learning process. The adult introduces the child to new activities, but the child can play games on their own. It is also important for the adult to assist with practical experience during gluing, cutting, drawing, and finger painting.
