Beschreibung
The story of an extraordinary friendship between a little rabbit and an owl, with charming illustrations by the author of A Year in the Forest. At the roots of an old oak tree lives a rabbit family, and high in the crown above them, owls nest. Both families have just welcomed a new baby. Although they live so close to each other, they rarely meet. When it's a beautiful, sunny day and the little rabbit is running around the meadow, the owl is fast asleep. And as soon as the owl spreads its wings in the moonlight, the little rabbit sweetly falls asleep. Thus, days and nights pass, and the little rabbit and the owl never meet. However, their parents tell them so much about each other that they both long to get to know one another...
