The Ritual — a mysterious ceremony during which you become an adult overnight. After the Judge's decision, nothing will be the same again. In a world where magic is an everyday part of life, forests hide ancient secrets, and even stones can have their own will, Edra and her friends are about to celebrate their sixteenth birthdays. However, more than the final exams at school, they are troubled by the Ritual and the question of who they will become in life. Something here doesn’t add up. No one wants to talk about how the Ritual actually takes place and to what extent they can decide about it themselves. And since the girls are not willing to just wait idly, they set out to investigate on their own. Their journey leads them to fundamental questions concerning their lives and brings them face to face with the threat of hostile forces trying to penetrate their world.
