Pavel Němec (born 1981 in Moscow) grew up in a Czech-Russian household in Ústí nad Labem, studied computer science in Brno and Plzeň, and deserted his studies for the world of lifestyle magazines; he now works for TV Prima as an acquisition dramaturg for documentaries. He is a member of the underground band Umbrtka. He lives in Prague.
