Germany, 2006: Anastasia's great-granddaughter Nica has cut off contact with her family and moved to Berlin. A civil war is currently raging in Georgia, and her niece Brilka, who set out on a journey to the West, refuses to return to Tbilisi. Nica seeks her out and tells her the entire family story. The hot chocolate prepared according to the old family recipe brings salvation and misfortune across six generations...
