The new book by historian, educator, journalist, civil servant, and politician Pavel Žáček, aptly titled "Intruders at the Interior. State Security, Lustrations, and Opening Archives, 2006–2008," thoroughly documents the emergence of two currently unfortunate memory institutions, the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes and the Archive of Security Forces, which have been significantly influenced in recent years by political pressures from top representatives of the ČSSD, the Green Party (and some others), effectively fulfilling the past political agenda of the KSČM, as well as the current government of normalization and forgetting led by Andrej Babiš.
