The famous era of the developed field of aerial work, commonly referred to as crop dusting, essentially ended with the Velvet Revolution. Completely different rules of management and planning, financing, and pricing policies emerged in our entire economy, and this sector lost its economic essence. Anyone who has been close to flying or is interested in it knows that flying as a crop duster meant flying under conditions that are prohibited for any other aviation operation. A few meters above the ground, flying at nearly minimum speed, an aircraft loaded with cargo, a flight requiring maximum concentration on the surrounding terrain, flight obstacles, wind strength and direction, monitoring the quantity and area in which the pilot drops his chemical load, a significant number of takeoffs and landings in field conditions every day, etc. It is no wonder that accidents occurred under such conditions. Pilots did not yet have mobile phones, radio communication was imperfect, if it existed at all. The crashed pilot fought for his life in the wreckage of the aircraft without help, alone and for a long time. Many pilots paid the highest price for their passion for flying; they deserve honor and remembrance. This also belongs to the large number of crop duster pilots who were luckier.
