The book presents a selection from the spiritual diary, where Gabriela recorded what the voice she heard in her soul for fourteen years told her, which she believed belonged to Jesus Christ himself. In 1944, she gave her consent for the publication of these conversations of her soul with the Lord Jesus. In France, they began to be published in 1949 with a preface by the Jesuit fathers and also with ecclesiastical approval. Today, they have been translated into many languages, and excerpts from them can also be heard in the homilies of renowned preachers.
