The book Death of the God of Death presents a story full of courage and self-sacrifice, but also of betrayal and cruel revenge. The author knows all the actors in this drama well. After all, it was he who first attempted to clarify the background and course of the assassination in the book Behind Heydrich's Shadow from 1947. Jaroslav Andrejs provides a comprehensive account of one of the most successful actions of the Czechoslovak resistance against the Nazis. Today, there are many studies by renowned historians about the assassination, but that does not mean there is no room for solid non-fiction literature.
