Upgrade your English teaching! 'UpGrade' is the name of a new teaching set for English for the 2nd stage of elementary schools and the lower level of multi-year gymnasiums. When creating the teaching materials for Upgrade 7, the document 'Strategy for Educational Policy of the Czech Republic until 2030+' was taken into account. This document emphasizes the development of key competencies that will be critical for the sustainable development of society in the coming decades of the 21st century. The publication is based on a communicative method and evenly develops all four language skills. Language resources are extensively developed, and the language corresponds to the currently used form. The textbook increases student motivation through topics relevant to their age group, colorful illustrations, project tips, games, and videos in the style of new media (vlogs). The Compass section in each lesson brings additional interesting facts related to the topic, thus connecting the curriculum to students' lives, other subjects, and life outside of school.
