The textbook is designed according to the generally popular concept of teaching mathematics, consisting of rules, sample problems with solutions, and exercises to practice new material. The exercises are characterized by creativity, content and typological diversity, and they motivate students to work. A broad collective of teachers with rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience in teaching mathematics contributed to the creation of the textbook. In the revised edition, in addition to incorporating hundreds of minor improvements and suggestions from practicing teachers, we increased the format of the textbook to B5. The pages are thus clearer and more spacious. In accordance with RVP ZV, the modern and full-color design supports students' motivation and creativity. The diverse types of tasks serve students to practice the material being covered in a playful and enjoyable way. The textbook is suitably complemented by a workbook and a number line. The content of the textbook is divided into two main parts: arithmetic and geometry. It playfully and enjoyably practices multiplication and division within the multiplication table, includes work with graphs, clocks, and number lines.
