Fotografie nového milénia / Od technických mutací k poetice autorské tvorby – Vojtěchovský Miroslav (2022)

At the turn of the millennium, the dynamic transformation of analog photography into digital processes was represented by the tandem of Vojtěchovsky and Beneš. This book examines the influence of new technologies on the tradition of the field and on the emerging generation of young authors who followed in their footsteps through creative work and theoretical reflection. The publication includes, among other things, the most complete collection of essays by Prof. Miroslav Vojtěchovský focusing on communication and thinking in images, as well as texts on the scenology of images and working with color in the digital environment by Dr. Marian Beneš. Through examples of works by educators, students, and graduates of the Applied and Advertising Photography studio at FUD UJEP, the book suggests possible ways of developing contemporary visual creation. Dr. Marian Beneš, MQEP, compiled and co-published the publication dedicated to the years 2005-2020 as a thank you and tribute to the pedagogical and creative work of Prof. Miroslav Vojtěchovský, QEP, a leading Czech photographer, educator, theorist, and curator, with whom I had the honor of closely collaborating both pedagogically and professionally for over 15 years.
