Nejhloupější anděl – Moore Christopher (2019)

The holidays crept into Borová Zátoka like the embodiment of Christmas intrusiveness: dragging chains, lights, and decorations behind them, exhaling the scent of eggnog, reeking of pine, and spreading an horrifically festive atmosphere like frostbite from long sitting under the mistletoe. It was the eve (or rather the week before) of Christmas, and all the residents of the town of Borová Zátoka in California were frantically shopping, wrapping gifts, preparing themselves for travel, and generally getting into the right mood. Not everyone was happy: little Joshua Barker desperately longed for a Christmas miracle. But Josh was absolutely sure he had just seen Santa get hit on the head with a shovel, so the seven-year-old boy fervently prayed: Please, Santa, rise from the dead. But wait! Nearby, the archangel Raziel is fluttering about, having come to Earth to find a child whose wish cannot be fulfilled by human means. Unfortunately, our angel does not boast the sharpest halo, and before you can say 'jingle bells,' he totally botches his sacred mission and plunges the residents of Borová Zátoka into unimaginable Christmas chaos.
