Infinity has fascinated humanity for millennia, and we encounter it not only in philosophy but also in physics and mathematics. But what if it doesn't exist at all? This remarkable interdisciplinary book, whose often very new and original ideas sparked considerable positive and negative commotion, even resistance, outrage, and sharply personal criticism in the academic community and the media during the author's dissertation phase, explores the question of the existence of infinity in reality and abstraction, in physics and mathematics, using materials and examples from dozens of different scientific fields.
