Quarantine 2.0 follows the book Quarantine, which Václav Klaus and the team at the Václav Klaus Institute wrote during the first lockdown at the turn of March and April 2020. "We wanted to say clear, calming, non-alarming words to the public. We wanted to contribute to the search for a rational government policy," writes Václav Klaus in the introduction to the new book. This epidemic has already divided our society in the spring, and now in the autumn, this division seems even deeper. It divides friends and turns them into enemies.
