Behind the renewed frenzy of environmentalism lies an old and well-known effort to fundamentally transform our lifestyle. "The dispute is not about temperature; it is about a radical change in human society and our way of life, it is about limiting our freedom, which one side of this conflict demands and tries to impose on the other," says Václav Klaus in the new book from IVK. Despite the degree of irrationality we face, we want to attempt to present rational arguments in this discussion again, at least for those who are willing to hear them. If the topic of climate and environmental alarmism has been somewhat on the periphery of our interest, we hereby reassert our engagement with it. In the first part of the new anthology, we bring readers a translation of part of the publication from NIPCC (the Non-Governmental International Panel on Climate Change) titled Again on Climate Change. In part B, you can read two responses to this report: from emeritus professor Petr Vaníček of the University of New Brunswick in Canada, and also Václav Klaus in his speech at the fifty-second seminar of the World Federation of Scientists on planetary threats in Erice, Italy.
