A German publishing house rented a house to the author, a grilling professional, for six months, where he could perfect recipes and taste the results with tasters. This resulted in a book about grilling with a clear concept: grilling is done over good charcoal and uses ingredients that can be easily obtained. Readers are thus presented with a 'grilling school' based on extensive knowledge, with clearly outlined principles. Perfectly grilled juicy pieces of beef, veal, pork, poultry, and lamb, fish and seafood, as well as vegetables including side dishes, sauces, and marinades are tastefully arranged in photographs. The dishes prove that when grilling, it's not about the amount of money spent or impressive accessories, but about doing what needs to be done at the right moment. The reward is then the enjoyment of grilling at the highest level.
