He arrives in Lisbon, captivated by the city’s beauty, but a new beginning continues to elude him. Before long, however, a new chapter of his life opens before him, filled with unexpected experiences. The novel is presented to Czech readers in a sensitive translation by Ingeborg Fialová-Fürstová.
