Tattoos & Tequila is the explosive biography of one of the most famous American bands – Mötley Crüe. Mötley Crüe was formed in Los Angeles in 1981 and since then, with nine studio albums and over 80 million records sold, they have become one of the best-selling and notoriously known heavy metal bands in America. In the late 80s, they achieved enormous success with their blend of heavy metal and glam rock, with the 'glam' look of singer Vince Neil reportedly inspiring Aerosmith's hit 'Dude (Looks Like A Lady)'.
