Patrik Ouředník's book follows his previous works, Šmírbuch jazyka českého and Aniž jest co nového pod sluncem, and presents 1800 entries that explain 'words given to oblivion', meaning words that were meant to replace foreign terms so that Czech would have its own expression for every thing.
