Hybrid threats have become one of the most discussed topics in security, political, and social discussions over the last decade. Their significance is continuously growing due to the increasing dynamics of geopolitical, geo-economic, and security developments, rapid technological advancements, and the rising degree of informational interconnectedness in the global environment. Experiences from European and world democracies in recent years show that these threats are not just a hypothetical expression of potential dangers and risks, but a very dangerous, real, dynamic, and at the same time highly complex multi-dimensional and multi-level phenomenon that requires systematic attention, both at the level of scientific research and in practice, when ensuring the security and proper functioning of our society.
