The monograph deals with evidentiary means according to the Criminal Procedure Code (procedural evidentiary means) and especially according to special laws (non-procedural evidentiary means). In the introductory sections, it broadly presents the legality and admissibility of evidence in criminal proceedings in general, including the usability of unlawfully obtained evidence in criminal proceedings. The work distinguishes evidentiary means according to the Criminal Procedure Code from evidentiary means according to special laws, which are the subject of processing in individual core chapters. In these, the author examines the possibilities of using evidence obtained from evidentiary means based on special laws, characterizes the possibilities of using information obtained during the performance of classified activities of the detective service for evidentiary purposes, and discusses the use of information-technical means from the perspective of the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union. In conclusion, it offers reflections and proposals de lege ferenda. The publication is intended for judicial practice, but also for students who are engaged in the topic of evidence.
