The anthology contains ten texts with various focuses by renowned experts concerning the division of power. After a theoretical analysis of the division of power in the Constitution by Jan Kysela, Marian Kokeš addresses this issue within the legislative process, where there exists tension between the government and parliament. Jan Malír's contribution is dedicated to the (non)justiciability of political questions in the context of the division of power. A trio of authors, Ondřej Kadlec, Katarína Šipulová, and David Kosař, write about state bodies that cannot be easily classified into the classic tripartite division of power. Jan Wintr and Petr Mikeš focus on another block of issues concerning the response of state bodies (especially courts) to the pandemic. Stanislav Balík shifts the issue of the division of power from exclusively state power to territorial self-government. Vlastimil Göttinger returns the questions of the division of power to a more general level, appealing for greater respect among its individual components – particularly in relation to the judicial power, which is often the 'whipping boy' of politicians. Ondřej Moravec points to the seemingly separate problem of mass tax forgiveness in the context of the theory of the division of power. Jaroslav Benák reminds us that if models of the division of power are to accurately reflect the power reality, we cannot overlook other influential non-state actors...
