Beschreibung
The publication is the first comprehensive monographic treatment of the issue of administrative judiciary in nearly 20 years of the effectiveness of the Administrative Court Procedure Code. It offers readers a complex interpretation of the rules governing proceedings before administrative courts. Attention is paid not only to individual provisions of the Administrative Court Procedure Code but also to the theoretical foundations of administrative judiciary, including its historical development and constitutional law bases. The authorial team consists of academics from law faculties in Olomouc, Brno, and Prague, most of whom also work in legal practice. Their interpretation is based on thorough research of professional sources and a critical view of specific institutes, with particular attention to those provisions of the Administrative Court Procedure Code that have proven problematic in application practice. The interpretation also reflects the 'COVID' jurisprudence of administrative courts. Due to the detail of the interpretation, the book will be appreciated not only by law students but also by their graduates when preparing for professional exams, as well as by lawyers and judges. At the same time, the publication is a fundamental contribution to scientific and legislative discussions about the form of administrative judiciary.
