Beschreibung
This practical guide in its second edition summarizes the historical legal regulations of inheritance. It is primarily intended for the everyday practice of notary offices, which still grapple with the issue of so-called additional inheritance proceedings, where knowledge of 'historical' inheritance regulations is essential. The book contains an overview of substantive and procedural regulations of inheritance law from 1918 to 2022, along with a brief characterization of them, except for the current regulations, and explanations of practical procedures. Newly, in the general introductory part, the authors also deal in detail with the principles of applying 'historical' inheritance regulations. It also includes a reflection on the potential impacts of the current regulation on the agenda of additional inheritance proceedings, which should occur after January 1, 2024, when ten years of the Civil Code's effectiveness will have elapsed. Notaries and their employees handling inheritance matters are provided with a concentrated set of information about inheritance law and its practical application, and it is the authors' and publisher's wish that this reissue, like the original edition, will be accepted by practice.
