The monograph discusses in detail the most common type of decision in criminal matters, which is the criminal order. The author analyzes the legal regulation of this legal institution, particularly the conditions for its issuance, the types of penalties that can be imposed, and its relationship to the fundamental principles of criminal proceedings. The issue of the criminal order is placed in a historical and international context so that the reader understands the dynamics of its development reflecting society's evolution towards the rule of law and a legal state. The author compares the criminal order with alternatives and other types of decisions, and inter-sectorally compares the order proceedings.
