The second edition of the commentary on the Labor Code is published in connection with the extensive amendment by Act No. 285/2020 Coll., which came into effect on July 30, 2020, and January 1, 2021, and brings changes concerning: - termination by the employee due to the transfer of rights and obligations from employment relationships or due to the transfer of the exercise of rights and obligations from employment, as well as the legal regulation of these transfers, - clarifications regarding the legal regulation of working hours, - clarifications regarding the reimbursement of expenses related to work performance, - time off related to activities for children and youth, - new legal regulations for taking leave, in connection with the established weekly working hours or the shorter weekly working hours of the employee and the reduction of leave, - new legal regulations for one-time compensation for non-pecuniary damage in cases of particularly serious injury to the employee and new legal regulations for one-time compensation for non-pecuniary damage to survivors, - new legal regulations for shared workplaces, and - clarifications of the legal regulations for the delivery of documents in employment relationships.
