There are a number of professions that are prone to stress and burnout syndrome. Judges also belong to this group. This raises a whole range of questions for the justice sector. Primarily, whether stress affects the performance of a judge's duties, and if so, to what extent and under what conditions it can lead to burnout. Furthermore, what measures can be taken from the perspective of the Ministry of Justice, judicial management, and especially the judges themselves to minimize stress-inducing factors in judicial activities and to prevent the onset of burnout syndrome, and how can judges themselves manage negative stress during their demanding role and avoid burnout.
